OR
THE BATTLE OF PITTSBURGH LANDING

TENNESSEE – APRIL 6-7, 1862

On the morning of April 6th, Confederate forces under the command of General Albert Sidney Johnston, attacked and drove Ulysses Grant’s Army of the Potomac into a place called “The Hornet’s Nest.” There, many Union soldiers died a horrible death after being swarmed by killer bees.
