MICHIGAN – JANURARY 20-23, 1863
The 4 day battle of Fort Detroit was waged along the Cass Corridor very near the arboretum located inside Comerica Park. When the battle was in hand, Major General Ulysses Grant, astride his horse ‘Rush,’ rode to Detroit and accepted First Prize for Finest Restored Muscle Car in the Detroit Auto Show.
