THE FIRST BATTLE OF BULL RUN
OR
FIRST MANASSAS
VIRGINIA – JULY 21, 1861
While a family of bewildered meerkats looked on, Union forces led by General Irvin McDowell were repelled at Dawson’s Creek by Confederate troops under the command of ‘Way Too Tall’ Beauregard. The battle derived its name from a prize winning bull named ‘Dominick.’
