THE FIRST BATTLE OF WINCHESTER
OR
THE BATTLE WHERE TONY MET THAT GIRL

VIRGINIA – MAY 25, 1862

Taking place north of the Winchester Coca-Cola bottling works, General Thomas J. ‘Stonewall’ Jackson routed the Army of the Potomac in Frederick County. Displeased at the result, General Ulysses Grant visited the scene of the battle riding his dinosaur, ‘Fred.’ Unwittingly, Grant rode into a Confederate ambush hear the Handley High School, but was unharmed.
